All DETECTRONIC Tunnel Detectors and Conveyors are manufactured to customer's specifications, to match the individual product and ensure optimum sensitivity.
Steel frames and motors always best stainless material. Frames with glass bead blast finish.
Our program covers tunnel sizes from 2 x 2 in (50 x 50 mm) to 39.5 x 79 in (1000 x 2000 mm) (height x width).
Horizontal conveyors are supplied in lengths from 48 in (1200 mm); minimum height above the floor: 12 in (320 mm). The minimum length is determined by the height of the inspection tunnel and the length of the items passing.
The conveyor frame rests upon legs, adjustable +/- 1 1/2 in (40 mm), if not otherwise agreed. It is bolted to the floor, or mounted upon wheels.
Comprehensive choice of belt types and profiles.
Belt speeds from 36 ft/min (10 m/min). Variable if the conveyor is ordered with a frequency inverter.
Large choice of methods and equipment for automatic rejection of contaminated items.
Ascending belts available in lengths of minimum 48 in (1200 mm); minimum height above the floor: 8 in (200 mm) at inlet.
Ascending belts are available with landing at inlet and outlet.
