Hygiene
The secret with good hygiene is easy access for sanitation. The design of the IQF OctO-Frost™ is extremely open and easy to clean. Product bed and sides can easily be removed for sanitation.
When removed the access to the inside of the freezer for sanitation is extremely easy. In addition there is no belt, belt support, or drives which hinder the cleaning process.
Other freezer design characteristics facilitate hygiene. Surfaces are sloping to accommodate water drainage. The rear part of the freezer is easy to open for access to the coil. The freezer is constructed of stainless steel, plastic and aluminum.
Product changes are easily completed by simply exchanging bedplates.
Reliability
The OctO-Frost™ is designed with very few moving parts.
The heavy duty design is easy to understand and operate. The freezer is built with tough multiple shift operation in mind. Components are selected from world class suppliers like Siemens, and ABB. Therefore spare parts are always available in the SCAN AMERICAN parts room.
Installation
OctO-Frost™ units are easy to install. They are delivered as self-contained factory tested units.
