SEM Mechanical Seal
SEM's Mechanical Seal Unit with built in bearing is a very effective method to eliminate dripping from screw conveyors, pumping bins, roller crushers, or any other type of machinery handling greasy, or wet material. The Mechanical Seal Units are low in cost, relative to their long lifetime and easy maintenance. The bearing is separate from the seal in such a way that bearing replacement is possible without disturbing the seal. If the seal does happen to fail, the separation between seal and bearing insures no fluids will contaminate and destroy the bearing. Seal replacement can wait for a period of scheduled downtime.
