SEM-17 Pre-Breaker
The SEM-17 Pre-breaker is an extremely heavy duty machine designed for size reduction to two inch for all materials typically found in the rendering industry. Whole carcasses of all agricultural species, all slaughterhouse offal, and pure bone material can be reduces easily without any problems.
To increase capacity 12-14% and to optimize the cutting process as much as possible, the SEM-17 Pre-breaker is equipped with 17 cutting knives instead of the usual 15 as in most competitive machinery. The new and improved stuffing boxes insure almost no leaks or drips with easy-to-manage weekly maintenance. Equipped with a solid shaft and hard-faced special steel knives, the SEM-17 main shaft with knives is easy to replace when finally necessary.
Capacity: Depending on material and size of gear motor up to 55 tons/hour.
Construction: Both knives and anvils are hard surfaced and can be replaces when and if required. Support frame and inlet hopper can be customized for your specific layout.
SEM-35-1" Pre-Breaker
The SEM-35-1" Pre-breaker is a very heavy duty machine designed for size reduction to one inch for all materials typically found in the rendering industry. Whole carcasses of all agricultural species, all slaughterhouse offal, and pure bone material can be reduces easily without any problems.
To increase capacity 10-12% and to optimize the cutting process as much as possible, the SEM-35-1" Pre-Breaker is equipped with 35 cutting knives instead of the usual 30 on most large Pre-Breakers. The new, improved stuffing boxes insure almost no leaks or drips with easy-to-manage weekly maintenance.
Equipped with a solid shaft and hard-faced special steel knives, the SEM-35-1" main shaft with knives is easy to replace when finally necessary. Before the crushers go to be painted they are all tested with 4" x 4" wooden beams.

Construction: Knives and anvils are welded up with hard metal, support from and inlet hopper upon request.
