UMAG Disc Dryers
The UMAG high-performance drier is equipped with a special rotor in disk design. This construction allows a continuous operation as well as a mild and careful handling of the material during the drying process. The optimized discharge of condensate affects an ideal heat transfer leading to a high power density. The special shaped vapor dome guarantees good evaporation and easy access for inspections.
The reinforcement of the discs is realized by internal segments instead of bolts which avoid outer welding seams and thus wear by erosion. The fully forged shaft ends are turned down onto the diameter of the tubular jacket and so welded with it. This procedure entails no further reinforcement rings for the shaft ends.
